Review of the Hunter 450 by h l kemper

Liveaboard? Yes  
Owner bought the boat in 2002  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes it is very user friendly but after useing it could be even more  
Gear that's been added not realy  
Structural or complex improvements roller furling main and bow thruster  
The boat's best features  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. lots of leaks light shades in hatchs are all shot ruudder deeper than kkkkkkkeel not good also very light in design  
Sailing characterisitcs have sailed lots of boats thhhhhis 450 sails well for its size  
Motoring characterisitcs  
Liveability excellent  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) all the people i talked to at hunter were very pleasent and helful  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any tidewater in havre de grace are excellent  
Other comments my wife an i have have charterd for 35 years and never realy wanted to own a boat abroaker had us look at a used 450 passage my wife said if we ever buy a boat i want this one that was enough for me
