Sailing characterisitcs The H43 is an easily handled boat by 2 people in most all conditions 0 - 45 knot experience.The H43 is unbeatable on a close reach: fast and close winded.Hull speed is easily achieved on a Beam Reach.The displacement of the H43 (24,000 lbs actual dry weight) makes for sea comfortable motion.  
Motoring characterisitcs It motors like a trawler, expect slower. Normal is 7 knots @ 2,600 rpm with standard 2 blade prop. This is very comfortable.  
Liveability I have lived aboard for the past 18 months and have made no improvements to the H43 with the exception of a microwave. The interior volume and the  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter was okay....much better than Catalina but a lot worse than the Cadillac Dealer and Ford Dealer on delivered quality of the boat. Hunter's deliver quality needs a lot of improvement.
