absolutly! It's a wonderful boat.

The boat's best features
extreme ease of handling single handed. Very stable in all weather.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
only thing I'm dissatisfied with is the Stack-Pack main sail stowage system. With the boom so high above the cock pit it is very hard to reach the zipper to zip it up.
Sailing characterisitcs
you must be thinking ahead about reefing the main! The main is very big and can catch you off guard if the weather picks up suddenly.
Motoring characterisitcs
the Yanmar diesel has great power for the 36 footer. moves us right along even in strong head winds.
Liveability
Nice salon and galley and the head is good. the v-berth and aft beds are narrow for the size of the boat, my wife and I are not large people but still must sleep separate to be comfortable.

I believe you can do no better than Hunter for absolute value for the dollar. They build beautiful boats of superior design and quality.
