If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Without a doubt. This is a great cruising boat for the Chesapeake Bay. I looked at a lot of boats and Hunter offered me everything I was looking for...moderate size, fast in lite winds, great cockpit area, plenty of storage, lets a lot of light in, very modern design, very responsive, easy to take care of, reliable systems.  
Gear that's been added Yes. Autopilot, GPS, Cruiseair, canvas, seat cusions.  
Structural or complex improvements Cruiseair.  
The boat's best features Open design in cockpit and interior, sail and standing rigging design.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Latches and screws on lazaretts, gages for holding tank, access to thru hull valve for sink and to secondary fuel filter.  
Sailing characterisitcs Boat handles great, especially in lite winds.  
Motoring characterisitcs No complaints.  
Liveability We have lived onboard for several week-long cruises and the boat is very livable.  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) The best. Hunter has always answered all my questions and has gone way beyond what I expected in responding to requests. Took a tour of the factory last year and was very impressed with everyone I met from the front office to the people putting the boat together. Everyone there took pride and ownership in the product they produced.  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I bought the boat from Norton's Yacht Sales in Deltaville, VA. They were great to deal with, had excellent service people, and have become friends. Cannot say enough about them...its the place to buy your next boat.
