The boat's best features Room. The boat is very large for a 33-footer. I am 6'5" and 260lb. I need the space. The built-in features are nice like: the trash space below the counter and the double sink and lots of storage below and above deck.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The levels gauges don't work, diesel, water and waste. They are notorious for not working. I think I can fix them by taking them apart and freeing them up. I've fixed a couple things like the automatic bilge pump electrical wiring. I ran it down and re-connected some wiring. Rain leaks in places I can't find. It effects the cabin lights. But, it dries out eventually.
Sailing characterisitcs I reef down one notch and it sails very nicely, like a heavy cruiser.
Motoring characterisitcs I've backed my boat into a side-tie like a car. Pretty amazing. I impressed my wife.
Liveability The boat is very comfortable for two. It has lot's of room.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) I bought it used. So, I've contacted Hunter only once about a settling below the mast support post. They responded quickly.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Sorry, I bought it used from a private party.
Other comments It's the nicest boat I've ever owned. I had a couple health problems and went nuts and spent sixty thousand for the boat. It's cheap beach property. I don't regret it.
