Structural or complex improvements Replaced the compression post with stainless steel. Replaced all exterior lights and added a deck light. Replaced all running rigging. Replaced all head hoses. Replaced the exhaust elbow and all exhaust and fuel hoses. Sand blasted keel faired and applied interprotect 2000E barrier coat to entire boat. Recovered berth cushions. Replace toe-rail, stanhions, and life lines.
The boat's best features Size and features for the dollar value
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Obviously the compression post. Not crazy about cast iron keel.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails very well and fast.
Motoring characterisitcs motors fine, the stern walk is normally not a problem.
Liveability great for short trips up to a couple weeks with the 4 of us.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Not usually very successful, tried to get some info and its as if they have no idea how the boat was made.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any broker was fine.
Other comments Great boat.
