Review of the Hunter 25_73-83 by John

How the boat is used Day sailing  
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots  
Average size of crew 2-4  
Liveaboard? No  
Owner bought the boat in 2002  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes  
Gear that's been added New main sail, new prop on the motor. Sea Tow new blocks for the main.. 8 new port hatches, one large top hatch.  
Structural or complex improvements About to pull both toe rails and reseal.  
The boat's best features It floats for now and soon we'll do trips to the Keys and that will be a blast.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The boat is over 20 years old and the last six years, I don't think the boat was taken care of as it should of. But with a little care I think it could be put back in to good shape and that speaks for itself.  
Sailing characterisitcs Well I really don't like to go out unless it's 15 20.. I like to sail..  
Motoring characterisitcs It's a slow ride but good on gas.  
Liveability Not more than a weekend.  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) I didn't buy form Hunter, but I've called Hunter twice and they were very help full with my basic guestions.
