If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?
Yes,I got a really great price on the boat, it's the right size and prefect layout. Hunter's have a good following, I've looked at them for 4-5 years and they're not on the market very long.
Gear that's been added
Haven't added much yet, the boat has almost everything, AP, heater, dodger, ... Would like a spiniker.
Structural or complex improvements
Yes, I fixed the steel keel, the epoxy was blown off by rust. I ground down the rust and painted with epoxy paint but was told that sand blasting and reepoxying is the best way. Also worked on the keel to hull gap. It seems the this is a common problem with all Hunter's. This winter I'll be Cetoling the outside teak.

The boat's best features
The lay out inside is great, my past boat was a San Juan 28', with 2 young kid's we were packed in. It's nice to have room and not having to breakdown a bed in order to function in the cabin. The whole design is "user friendly", with features found only on bigger boats.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
The steel keel, and keel to hull joint.

Sailing characterisitcs
I just bought it, this dummer (August) and haven't had much time to sail her.
Motoring characterisitcs
Seems to motor fine, but motor is in a tight space. I have a Yanmar 18 hp, with a 2 blade, we go around 7knots.
Liveability
Space, space, space thats all I can say.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
No real contact.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
Broker was a Catalina dealer, might be why we got such a good deal.
