If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes.

The boat's best features Very solid construction.Rugged, easily rebuildable engine.interior layout is excellent for the age and design.Deep fin keel tracks well, turns well.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Cockpit is too small for more than two people to stretch out.Storage is minimal for extended cruising.Original alcohol stove was good, but propane is much better!Icebox insulation is marginal.Deep fin keel is too deep for riverine waters.Roller furling (early Harken design).  
Sailing characterisitcs This is a heavy boat. It takes a lot of sail area to power her. Goes well to weather. Very stable, forgiving design.  
Motoring characterisitcs With original YSM12 engine, very slow. You are better off sailing!  
Liveability Seeing as we lived aboard for 7 years, it can't bee too bad. More storage would be nice (but I had the same complaint on the 460-footer I used to work on!)  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They have promptly and courteously answered several technical questions over the years.  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Whitney's Marine in Orange Park, FL. A superior outfit in all respects.
