Structural or complex improvements Moved Water Heater behind Engine, Moved House batteries to Port Setee, Start battery under Quarter Birth Elect.Panel port side above setee,11AC,22DC.Breakers. Water tank under Stb. Setee 50gal. Added lockers above V Birth, Added Cabinets, Bookshelves Stb.above setee,Electrasan, 5000 Btu AC. under port setee Racor,raw water strainer in place of old elect. panel. Replaced most interior bulheads did away with foot well in hanging locker. laminated bulkheads. replaced shevels Main Cabin installed Nav. Station on Port side. Added 2500 watt Inverter Port behind setee.  
The boat's best features Built Well but simple

Sailing characterisitcs more Weather Helm than I would like but I have the shallow draft

Other comments I think that the early Hunters had a bad rap there simple boats and dispite of whats said well build, In my line of work I come in contact with many so-called top end boats and I have seen many that came apart like cardboard boxes but not an old hunter.
