This a variation on a theme presented on this forum to add storage space to the 23.5. Quarter-inch plywood, extruded aluminum channel, and construction adhesive was used.

I used Stainless Steel clips and screws to hang our boat hook just under the companionway.

This is the h23.5 table in the position for use. It would really be nice if a gripping surface or lip could be added to keep things put!
