more v-berth

posted 09-12-2008 by Jeff Prideaux

I built a v-berth for the forward part of the cubby cabin.

Although this area is not long enough for an adult to lay down, I wanted to have access to the area of the cabin just inside the companionway to be able to retreive items such as the anchor. Although, I do want the ability to lay down in there so I built a removable pannel that I can insert into place (no screws) whenever I want to lay down.

I keep the panel under the seats. I am happy with this set-up.
