I finally got the guts to haul the H22 from Clear Lake, TX to my home at Canyon Lake, TX. with my 87 Jeep Cherokee. Detoured around Houston as I was a little intimidated by the bulk of the boat. Towed nicely, though it took me over 6 hours. Today I washed down the deck and the hull with bleach/water and it really got rid of a lot of crud (see photo). Next, Ill tackle the cockpit, then the interior. After I get her cleaned up, Ill start on the replacement of the companionway door, the replacement of the lexan hatch cover, and v-berth bulkheads. I hope it is a simple as it looks. Hopefully, then she will be ready to rig and outfit and be cruising by March!
