I made these doors from under $150 for materials which included teak and bronze acrylic. Most notible features -- they open inward and lock against the companion way walls.

Notice they are hinged to open inward instead of into the cockpit.

Open Inward out of the way

Notice the same door closure on the port wall as Hunter uses on their doors. Starbroad side uses a nylon closure into the wall handle. Starboard side opening just about covers the wall handle but the port side clears the handle completely.
