View of final installation. The 3YM30 has been a great engine for the my 37C. Tom List of List Marine in Sausalito did the installation. He had to move the engine aft in the engine compartment and put a longer propeller shaft in. The 3YM30 is so much smaller than the old engine that if he had used the existing shaft the engine would have been so far back it would have been difficult to get to it. He also matched the engine with a new prop. We selected a 16x10 3 blade fixed prop. I dont worry about the loss of speed when sailing.

The motor mounts used the existing stringers. They had to be shimed about a quarter of an inch.
