this is what happens if you pick up something unseen left in the water after hurricane CHARLIE. It was someones dock with a piece of line that wrapped around the shaft and stalled the engine...boat came out today and insurance is taking care of it..

i had a shock absorber between the 2 halves of the coupling and i hope that saved the transmission and engine.( i ran the engine after the event and it seemed ok)
