There has been some discussion in the past about chart storage. Here�s my solution on my 1984, 37 Cutter. The two sides are solid teak the same thickness as the nav table brace, just for consistency. The bottom is 1/4 inch plywood. The side facing down is finished teak. The side facing up is white. I don�t know what it is, but it is the same finish as the other original equipment bulkheads. I wanted a smooth finish for easy sliding in and out of the charts without tearing them, or whatever. Notice the solid teak strip mounted on the nav station bulkhead, underneath the shelf, for addition support of the shelf.
