Back in 1997, I asked Artic Air of Clearwater Florida if they would package one of their 16,000 btu Heat Pumps in a special way. I sent them a series of cardboard templates of the area inside the starboard locker on my Hunter 35.5 sailboat. From this, they built the unit to fit into the locker. This first picture is the starboard settee with the heat pump and ductwork. Air from the blower exits in the aft direction. The duct feeds a splitter that divides the air for forward and aft directions.

Starboard settee with top on. Axial blower in forward duct under settee top. This is needed inorder to keep the air volume high enough.

Starboard settee with AC air intake and duct going aft.

Aft duct under chart table with built in vent for Galley area. Duct passes through head area and contiues into aft cabin with vent outlet there.

Another picture of aft duct under the chart table and TV storage area.
