The black synthetic bumpers used to cushion the hatches and swim platform passage door deteriorate from weather and UV. While you can buy them from Hunter, you can also get them in 4-packs at Home Depot, in off-white no less. They actually look much better than the black ones, especially on the stern with the door up.
