Since the original low profile cowls are no longer available I used a piece of starboard to cover the old large cowl holes and installed these 4-1/2 low profile SS cowls from Mariner.

Old cowls are obsolete and in the dumpster

There was just nothing that could be done to bring back the old deteriorating cowls.
