On the 1980 Hunter 33 the access to the head tank thru hull valve is gained by turning upside down in the lazarette and stretching as far as you can reach to open the thru hull valve for pump out. This is always done at sea at least three miles offshore and can be a lot of fun � not. To solve this access problem a hole was made directly over the thru hull in the cockpit floor. Now all it takes is to open the cover and turn the valve shutoff. [br clear=all>
