Note: Hardware mounted to anchor locker lid. Snap lock stays with deck hardware. Between the anchor shackle and the snap lock I placed a solid SS ring (painted) that stays with the anchor and when on deck is connected to the snap lock. The size of this ring gave me some variance to ensure a tight fit between the roller and the hardware mounted on the anchor lid. This fit is so tight I cant undo the snap lock without removing the locking pin first.

I remove the securing pin, pull back and undo the snap lock. I then replace the pin and lay the anchor shank to the side.

To Access Chain and Rode

with a bundgee cord

Securing the Anchor Locker Lid

are now accessible. Without the anchor in the locker theres lots of room. This is 120 of 3/8 chain and 280 of 3/4 triple braded nylon rode and you can see theres room for more.

Chain and Rode

is painted. The welder got everything a little to hot and surface rust appears with a coating of paint. Main channel started spotting for rust too from chain abrasion so I keep that area painted too.

Starboard Weld

is also painted

Port Weld

needs paint - good example of what happens without a coating.
