The Mermaid M5 AC Unit installed in the area under the v-berth space. The opening did not have to be cut. The unit is installed on top of the water tank on a poly board.

The unit comes with a 120 volt 20 amp circuit breaker and thermostat with control wiring that connects to the power panel and then to the ac unit. The discharge through the hull was installed 6 above the water line.

This is one of the three supply air grilles and one of the two return air grilles that were installed. The 4 flex duct used for the supply air was easily installed within the boat.

The thermostat was installed in the galley area. I think Hunter made a special place for it. It just fit to good in this location!
