I hated the uneven flooring under the sink. I tried to organize pot and pans flat ware and stores but to no avail. Everything just ended up piled in heaps under the sink. I used poster board for patterns, then cut the flooring out of plywood. The 2/4 on the right is the support for the flooring directly below the sink, I ripped it to the same height as the ridge in the back of the cabinet. The smaller box under the stove is great for flatware and cooking utensils.
