We wanted to mount a BBQ on our H280 but could not find a place that would not interfere with the stern seating. The solution was to take two SS rod holders, mount them horizontally on the bimini frame pointing towards each other. Next a piece of SS tubing was cut that would slide into the rod holders, but short enough so that it can be removed without removing the holder. Next I drilled a hole through one of the holders and through the ss tubing. A pin dropped into the hole stabilizes the bar and prevents it from rotating. Then I was able to mount BBQ to the bar. When the kids want to use the swim platform, pull the pin and slide the bar all the way to one side so that the opposite end clears its rod holder.
