This mod upgrades the ineffective single line bridle mainsheet system on the 27-2 with a double sheet system to control boom location and mainsail shape.

The system utilizes the existing 3 boom blocks and all port mainsheet deck hardware (fiddle block and cam cleat). Starboard side deck hardward is replaced to match port side. The two sheets are attached at one of the 3 boom blocks -use the same block. Each sheet creates a 3:1 purchase main sheet on each side.

Parts required are:
Shaefer fiddle block (505-45) (Replaced starboard single deck block and adapter)
Shaefer Universal Deck Adapter (504-02) Replaces the original deck adapter
Swivel Bracket and cam cleat (tbd)

The windward sheet controls boom location (you can now point with the best of them!) and the leeward sheet controls sail shape (boom tension). No traveler to clutter the cockpit or companionway.
