I didnt like the raw aluminum on spreader so I decided to sand down the metal and paint with high heat enamel engine paint finished with clear coat. I also found at local hardware store a toilet bowl tank gasket rubber and cork that help seal the bulb around the metal bowl.

The old owner had a note of water getting in the bulb fixture so I used some rubber washers that fit right around the metal bracket, you can see it in the middle between the spreader pole and the chrome fixture.

The wires coming up and out of the mast were being wrapped with ties externally around the spreader poles and each time the boat came out they must have cut and reconnected the wires, I didnt like that so I drilled a hole in the area where the wire comes out of the light fixture, then ran it inside the spreader pole. I used these waterproof connectors that I can disconnect each time. I ordered them from Delcity.

This is the male and female portion of the wires. And of course used Ratcheting wire Pliers and then I heat shrank the butt connectors and placed them inside another heat shrink tube.
