I added an old 12 volt light from a camper, to the engine bay, this one has push button switch on the light. This will be wired to the Aux power system, Separate from the engine battery in case there are issues with the motor/alternator/house battery..

Problems in replacing gauges is putting a square in a round hole,,,

inside view of square gauge in round hole. There is barely enough material to get a positive seal around this unit, without having to fill in the voids,, So I going back to the original equipment, Which may work??? the wiring was shorted in a few spots and previous attempts to repair, But the Garmin unit takes the place of these so, its a matter of choice,,after further review I am eliminating both original gauges and mounting Jensen Speaker system,,,
