Boat on trailer

boat on trailer, intro shot

Floor board are home made from Cedar. Note plastic coated wire with hook hanging over the stern to the right. That keeps the motor with the boat, should it ever try and jump ship.

Mast base

The mast is attached useing two pins. I can walk the mast up into position with out too mush trouble. Im sure as I age this will change.

Split back stay

The steel cable back stay comes down from the mast and ends in a pulley. Through the polley runs some high quality/strength rope that is tied off on deck anchors on each corner of the stern. By adjusting the line/rope through the pully one can adjust the back stay tension.

Pulley to raise and lower swing keel

I added hooks and straps to hold floor boards and cushions in place while trailering.

Cabin and swing keel trunk

A piece of wood bolted to the trailer supports the wieght of the keel when on the trailer. I need to put some foam or carpet on it to protect the keel.
