We purchased this boat as beginners and found it easy to sail. Used for day trips, We are traveling more so dont use it much.
Second owner for this 1980 Hunter 27 foot, wide (93) beamed medium displacement (7,000) cruising sloop with 33 shoal draft. Universal 3 cylinder diesel inboard engine (M320). Easy to handle for beginners – solid in water and winds. Edson steering system.
Sleeps 5 with backrests on settee berths removable for sleeping. 6 headroom with ample storage areas; sliding teak doors to V berth and head; large fold-up navigation table, fold down dinette table, 2 burner alcohol stove and a large draining icebox. Overhead hatch in V berth and main salon.
Sails and main jib with sail bags. 110 shore power throughout.
Docked in Branford, CT and includes slip through October 2017.

In 2009, all interior cushions replaced, all interior teak refinished, side ports replaced, new anchor purchased and dodger redone 2009. Main and jib sails cleaned in 2013.
Two sinks with brand new tank not hooked up. Original plumbing diagram available.
She is in good shape however, 2 top hatches need work (mild leaking).
