General condition and any additional information

This vessel has been extensively renovated and updated. When purchased it showed signs of not being used frequently and NO modifications had been made to the original factory equipment. The titled owner is a professional mariner with 35 years experience.

She is ready to launch and enjoy la vie aquatic.

Standard features

Roomy live-aboard three cabin layout, with adult sized V-berth and Quarter cabin, dinette also drops to double,. The head is a clever design with the vanity/sink opposite the enclosed head/shower.
Tankage includes two fresh water tanks 30+35 gal., HW tank 6gal., Holding tank 20gal.
Galley and head is equipped with Hot and Cold pressure water. The galley has a Force10 propane 2 burner stove, with oven and broiler.
Full length port settee doubles as a berth. The adjacent nav station is equipped with VHF radio, AC and DC panel e/w fuel, voltage and hourmeter, and liquor cabinet.
Starboard opposite is the large dinette-style table, with seating for 4 adults.
Fully equipped galley is aft of the dinette.
Aft of the nav station, is the enclosed quarter cabin, with bifold door,
Easy access to the engine is at the companionway cover, and from the aft cabin,
which also provides easy access to the shaft coupling and stuffing box.
Large T-shaped cockpit, pedestal/destroyer wheel, deep starboard locker, shallow port locker, and large lazerette.
Yanmar 3GM with low-for-age hours.

4 tie-down straps, articulated step ladder, 30amp power cord, docklines, fenders, cockpit cushions, AM/FM radio, two compact heaters, all boats documentation (original Hunter specs and invoice!), Yanmar manuals and all new equipment manuals.

Improvements to the hull, deck, rigging, engine, or interior

The bottom has been peeled and sealed , epoxy faired, and coated with four coats of Interprotect2000. Iron keel has five coats.
The mast was disassembled stripped, rewired and repainted.
New standing and running rigging, new rope clutches, anchor windlass on reinforced platform, bimini, sail, hatches, ports, DC wiring and three battery banks-two house, one start, all 5 in boxes and secured.
DC supply for the starboard side is provided by a new distribution panel in the cockpit locker.
Furling gear has been rebuilt with integral internal halyard.
New instruments-Bidata, Autohelm wheelpilot. gauges- fuel gauge, voltmeter. The fuel tank has been drained, cleaned, and a new sensor and clean-out port installed.
All thru-hulls, sea-cocks and hoses, stern tube, stuffing box, cutless bearing and prop have been replaced. Garboard plug has been installed to keep the bilges dry and sweet during on-hard storage.
Hanging lockers in berth cabins, and lockers in the heads have been cedar lined over the insulation. The berths have hull-side vanity shelves installed, two in V berth, one in the aft berth.
A handhold has been installed from the galley counter at the base of the companionway, and new robust Iroko handrails have been installed on deck.
New upholstery in all cabins, Force10 stove/oven/broiler, refrigeration, marine battery charger, three ventilation fans, 19 HD LED TV.
Propane system is equipped with remote shutoff switch and an integrated sniffer. A vented propane locker is secured in the large lazerette, with 11lb and 5lb tanks.
New refrigeration conversion of the large icebox includes extra insulation and an insulated divider to provide freezer space.
New black water plumbing, head, holding tank with two way pump-out via through-deck and also a macerator via a discharge seacock, equipped with seal. New anti-siphon valve on the head intake. New Kuuma 6gal HW tank (AC and heat exchanger).
Low engine hours (500) with new seawater pump, and exhaust elbow. Anti-siphon valve installed on the elbow to provide a tell-tale in the cockpit.
Engine compartment has been sound proofed all around; Racor pre-filter, new fuel hoses.
Nav light fixtures are new and LED, masthead VHF antennae
Water tanks have been flushed and cleaned, providing sweet fresh water. One tank is now equipped with a clean-out access.
The hulls carpet lining :-( has been replaced :-) with insulation and vinyl beadboard making for an easy to clean interior.
All interior and NAV lights are LED.
