1987 Hunter Legend 37 for sale. Shoal draft, wing keel, powered by a Yanmar 35HP, 3HM35F engine.
The sail inventory has a roller furling a tri-radial headsail (new in 2023), multiple older head sails including a cruising spinnaker and the original Dutchman main sail sans rigging and a Mylar racing mainsail. Instead of a mainsail cover it has a Doyle Sails made “cradle cover”, as used in the Islands by the Moorings/Sunsail charters. Mainsail cover is also included.
The deck has fresh (Spring 2025) KiwiGrip non-skid. A Hunter Owners Bimini offers protection from the sun and a custom dodger by Lakeside Canvas (New Spring 2025). The Dodger has bars for hanging your sheets and halyards, off the deck.
Forward is a large V-berth with a hanging locker and sink.
The main salon has some custom woodwork with a forward-facing chart table.
The galley has a large ice box, double sink and a gimbled, 2 burner CNG stove top with broiler. Also included is a dorm size fridge for keeping your condiments and beverages cold when you’re off the boat.
The water system is set up for ease of winterization with a quarter turn valve and a hot water heater bypass to save on antifreeze. The head is a Tecma EasyFit electric flush marine toilet which saves on fresh water but can be converted to a raw water system if you add an additional water pump.
The aft cabin has 2 hanging lockers, storage and a queen-size fore/aft berth You have an option for 2 additional berths along the hull sides for children or extra crew.
Electronics include, speed, depth and wind instruments, auto pilot, AM/FM Bluetooth stereo, VHF radio, battery charger and a 110 volt inverter. The 12Volt system has 2 deep cycle “house” batteries and a higher CCA starting battery .(new 2025)
Currently moored at Harbour Towne Marina with option of renting for the rest of the 2025 season. Included is a custom cradle for off season storage, currently located at Great Lakes Marina in Muskegon Michigan.
