If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Not sure. Waiting to find out how dealer and Hunter address problem with delamination of non skid surface on cockpit coaming. I want to love this boat but........

Structural or complex improvements No. Am considering third battery. Will probably alter jib sheet stoppers as they do cut the sheets. Will upgrade to larger anchor and rode. Will install heavier spline in the screens in the hope it will hold the screen in the frame.
The boat's best features Interior is spacious, bright, good ventilation. Large roomy cockpit.Love those stern rail seats.Stern is great for swimming, getting in or out of a dingy etc.Handles well.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Some dealer installed options either didn't fit properly or had to be repaired. All four coupling bolts in driveshaft fell out. Deck leaked under spray hood. Topping lift cleat on mast was
Sailing characterisitcs Downwind sailing is a problem that we anticipated.Have single handed with little difficulty. The large main does need help when dropping sail.Reefing the main is a must in a stiff breeze if only to save your arms from the weather helm created.
Motoring characterisitcs Throttle does not retain setting.Excess vibration at higher revs.Fuel consumption appears quite reasonable.Engine starts easily
Liveability Nice and roomy. The head is great. Easy to clean. Love those showers.Aft bunk is huge.Propane stove and microwave make life easier for the cook as does the rest of the galley.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Not as yet. Waiting to hear from them regarding the delamination of the non skid surface.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Boat was purchased from Angus Yachts of Toronto. The salesman appears genuinly interested in attending to the defects on this boat.Had I noticed the factory repairs upon delivery I would have held back a portion of the purchase price until proper repairs were completed or not have accepted the boat at all.
