If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes Much boat for the money. When we bought the boat we were sailing on lake Champlain and had two pre-teen girls. The boat had the room we needed. We also needed a boat that would go upwind well. We have since traveled to the MA coast. We left MA and traveled the ICW to Key West, the Exhuma and Berry islands of the Bahamas, returned to New England and back to FL and the Bahamas adding the Abacos,Cat and the outer islands for a 9 mo stay. We are in DB near the grand kids and working to go out again. Although the H34 is not a cruising boat per se it has done quite well. No serious problems other than the mast post (now repaired)
Gear that's been added yesauto pilot, high output alt. inverter, refrigration, solar panels, dodger
Structural or complex improvements No structural, have changed storage spaces
The boat's best features Speed, liveability engine
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The size of hatch openings, inacessibility of Batterys mast compression post
