Year built 2006
Location of boat San Diego
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? Yes
Owner bought the boat in 2006
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? So far so good.
Gear that's been added Full enclosure being fitted
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features Best bang for the buck if your looking for a production boat. Sails well and it is extremely comfortable. Tons of storage space and a very well thought out design. The boat is very livable even with 2 people a golden retriever and a cat.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. ONly design flaw we can see so far is the head in the salon area has no drain except for in the shower and no conecting plumbing. So if your head should overflow or spill water your only choice is to mop up the floor with towels.
Sailing characterisitcs Very light at the helm and surprisingly fast even in light winds.
Motoring characterisitcs
Liveability Extremely liveable.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Tiderwater in Annapolis has done an excellent commissioning our rboat and answering any questions that we had along the way. Our salesman, Jarrett was awesome and always there to help us out with any questions.
Other comments So far a great boat. We love it.
