If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Maybe, this was the only boat my partner and I looked at. Perhaps we should have gotten a boat 30-32 foot range. As far as the 27 Hunter, it has served us well. The boat averages 40 sails per year. She does not really point too well. perhaps the roller reefing is a contributing factor to that fault. Also, the shallow bildge is a pain in the backside. When the boat is heeled over, the water from the bildge always rolls out on to the floorboards. Also, the lack of a travelor is a disadvantage. I know some boats have been retro-fitted with a travelor and it seems slightly better. Overall, I think it was a good first boat and a lot of fun. It can't be that bad since there are over 600 outings logged.
