If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I love this boat and that's not just because it's only a year old now. I've owned a new 430 for 4 years and what an improvement in all areas!!!! This boat handles great! Went to San Diego and back to Newport,Oregon last summer and I could not be more pleased! Only found one glich on the alternator and everything has proformed as billed plus.We caught 20 to 25 kts abeam off Newport,Calif. and we were smoking at 10.8 kts!!! I'm impressed!  
Gear that's been added Valhalla is loaded to the gills with eletronics, I have installed Icom 710-RT in the office,two RL80CRC's,one at the helm and one at Nav.Station,Raycom's 230 modular VHF,1st station at helm,2nd station at office,3rd station in master state room,Custom Magna Platnum corian on all counter tops with stainless steel sinks in both heads, had the main cabin bulkhead extended and left just one hatchway to main cabin and extended sette, all done at the factory. 22inch Panasonic flat screen on salon bulkhead with DVD where TV once was. 15 inch flat screen in aft cabin with DVD.St 7000 plus auto pilot with T300 core pack,Fluxgate and MARPA compasses, Wabasto 32,000 BTU hot water diesel heater,interforestay with storm sail, extra headsail halyard rigged,topping lift changed to spared halyard,extra spinnacker halyard , spinnacker winches,1.25 inch stainless steel Sunbrella dodger(Hayden Island Canvas) is the best of all along this West Coast!,15 inch stainless steel dorals,three blade Maxiprop VIP,"Y" valves,Crew berth in office, 180% cruising spinnacker 1.5 oz,.6 runner,staysail,6 man Zodiac liferaft.

Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Everything works, I'm soooo happy.  
Sailing characterisitcs I have the fin keel and it heels over gently. We sailed a 180% spinnacker in 22 kts consentent wind with two fingers and it felt great!  
Motoring characterisitcs I have the 75 hp Yanmar and I cruise at 3200 rpm,approx 80% and still 8 plus knots.in flat water.  
Liveability More room and space than in some 55 footers, I've been on the bigger boats and they still feel crampted.  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) This is my second big boat from Hunter and they are a charm to work with, Whenever you call their office in Fla. everyone from the recectionist to the warranty people and design to exectutive staff are professional and very,very polite and understanding.Gosh, this almost sounds like a commercial, but it's true! I've been to the factory three times in the last five years and I always come away feeling everyone there was really there to help me,not just to sell me aboat.  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Hunters dealers,based on the experience I've had is TOPS! Isailed to San Diego this pass summer from Oregon and visited the San Diego dealer, H&S Yachts. I had a warranty issue the my alternator. I could not believe how fast they responded to my request.Same as the factory, friendly,professioal and simple put, Great! They did'nt have any vested interest in me or my boat, they acted as though I was their best customer.  
Other comments Great boat for a great price. Love the innovations and technology..Kevlar hull reinforcements.
