Review of the Hunter 26.5 by JB Marlatt

Year built 1988
Location of boat Muncie Indiana
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1997
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes; it sails nice.
Gear that's been added Changed the mast to be self setpping without the use of a gin pole. Boat is on a trailer and with a extension I float the boat on and off the trailer. Also have put about $3000.00 in the boat in the last year. Changed striping
Structural or complex improvements Changed mast tabernacle to be self steping.
The boat's best features
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Mast electrical wiring. Have added a ankor light and redone the through hall wiring.
Sailing characterisitcs

Liveability good.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Great, Hunter has given me a good 110% effort.
