If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? No, We have had a major problems with the Hull. One year ago we started noticing 3/4 inch wide X 18" to 30" long -indentations in the side of the hull. Hunter paid a fiberglass repair company to grind through the gel-coat to see what was causing the problems. They found that the factory failed to fill the soft mat material with resin during manufacturing. This poor workmanship caused the soft mat to collapse each time the boat touches anything. The gel coat is not being supported and it caves in with the slightest touch. Hunter would not pay for the haul-out or lay days but did pay to repair only the spots that were indented. During the haul-out we found blisters and de-lamination along the stern. Hunter paid for both on these problems. The boat was placed back in the water and within 4 weeks we had another long indentation in the hull. This will continue to happen until Hunter steps up and pays for the entire hull to be properly repaired. So far Hunter is claiming that this is cosmetic and not covered under warranty. Their warranty excludes most everything on the boat.Hunter's resin vendor looked at the problem and said that all three problems were related to poor workmanship. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? I guess it is time to hire an attorney!! Hunter has been good about paying for the multitude of other repairs that have been required. Please contact me if you have had any similar problems with your hull.
