Review of the Hunter 33.5 by Paul Olson

Year built 1988
Location of boat Vancouver B.C.
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2002
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Just bought boat. Still learning about. Looking for info on things we may not be aware of being new owners.
Gear that's been added No.
Structural or complex improvements No
The boat's best features I find the boat very easy to sail. The boat seems to be a forgiving type of sailer. We enjoys the boat.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I have a fuel leak somewhere. I can't seem to find it. I have replaced the fuel filter canister. It could be the line comming to the filter. or even way behind. I can't see back there. Also i find it hard to check the oil because the stick is hard to get at. I find the doorways to narrow for me. Not sure if the prop is slowing the boat down at all. There is a noticible vibration at 5 to 6 Knots. I notice the moter is moving which means the prop is causeing the moter to move. I make sure the boat is in neutral. I would like to Know if the 33.5 88 model is a good one or one people generaly stay away from. I need a honest answer for resale pourpose.
