Location of boat Denver, Colorado

How the boat is used Weekends and longer

Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1998
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Absolutely, this is my third slo boat, and our favorite. We decided to either buy a cat 22 or a hunter 23, and we made the correct decision.
Gear that's been added Just a few goodies, it was pretty well equipped, but we added a swim ladder ( detachable and stored when not in use) and I wired in a depth finder-fish locator. The transducer was epoxied in the V berth storage next to the head, and the removable mount was placed on the starbord bulkhead. Also added a CDI fuller, and single handed controls...a great idea. Two flag lines on the spreaders, a gas grill to hang on the aft rail when we get hungry, and a partridge in the pear tree.
Structural or complex improvements Nope
The boat's best features There is usually only my wife, Laborador, and myself onboard. It is just perfect for us. When we do take another couple or two for a sale..it is just right, not too big, not too small.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. We have the shoal or wing keel, and it is kinda trickie to get into the trailer slot. But then we only have to do it once a year so it ain't really a big deal. The boat looks 2-4 years old, not 14, but there are some spots where the jell coat is chipping off.It is very tight and shows no signs of ever having leaked.
Sailing characterisitcs Steady as she goes. We have a knot meter on her, but to date have not seen it go past 4.5. And that is with a 150 Gennie, and 15-18 knots of air.
Motoring characterisitcs We overkilled with a 15 hp electric, with alternator. The only problem is running the motor long enough to keep the battery up.
Liveability Seems dandy, as long as Ship Shape is maintained. The best interior layout in any 22-23 footer we have seen. Love the fold down table, it really opens up the interior.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Not yet
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any We bought it from a Broker/dry land marina..and the experience was fantasitc...they could not have gone more out of their way
