Switch and Charger

With the charger I have now they are not necessary. But the idea was to be able to hook up the charger without removing the battery. The positive post required a cover so I just bought a post with a cover. The nepgative post is just a peice of plywood that I put a brass screw through and varnished.

Positive and Negative Posts

The batteries are in the aft portion of the locker. The starboard was simply laid on top of the ballast tank and held in place with some 5200. I think the starboard was purchased as a 24 X 27 1/2 sheet and just fit through the opening. Mark the position of the battery boxes before you glue it down and attach the hold down straps while it is out of the locker. I had to do mine left handed while upside down, would have been much easier if I had done it before gluing the board down.
