On the H356 the air conditioning unit is under the starboard seat next to the sink. The electronic controls are in the box with the blue circle. A thumb screw is to the top and after releasing you can pull the entire package up and expose.

Finding the electronics

In the circle is the start capacitor for the unit. This is where the hard start capacitor gets attached to.

Looking for the start capacitor

To much sunlight coming in. There is no polarity for attaching the start capacitor. You just add it in parallel to the existing capacitor. When closing up I just let the hard start capacitor lay on the deck between the electronics box and the screen with the wires coming out the bottom.

Worked.. We now have AC with the generator.
