I added a 1.0 cu ft ac refrigerator under the nav desk. I got the idea looking at Catalina 30 modifications. The dimensions on the refrigerator I purchased is 20H x 15W x 16D. I notched the rear corners about 2 to fit against the hull and built a platform using plywood and teak. It projects a few inches beyond the nav desk and the platform is a few inches beyond the fridge door to act as a toe-kick. Its not as flush as I had hoped but I am satisfied with results.
I have an 1000w inverter mounted under the nav desk as well and will allow running the refrigerator when motor-sailing. When the unit is not running it can serve as a cooler by adding a few frozen water bottles.
