We lacked a good location to place the GPS and Radar on our 290 so we removed the stock grab bar and had a custom bar created. The GPS and Radar cables are shown in this picture.

You can see how we have the RADAR and GPS setup. No problem with people grabbing the Radar or GPS by accident. This was a problem before we had the grab bar put in place.

When we are done for the day or leaving the boat we can just remove the electronics.
