See Deck switch

Deck Switch installed just to the port side of winch. Can use foot or knee to operate leaving hands free to arrange the rode in the locker I also installed an extra battery in the starboard side cockpit locker . The circuit breaker is also installed in battery locker.

See Rub strip

when hauling the anchor, I do have to coil the nylon rode. The chain falls into the locker on its own but i do arrange it in the locker every few seconds to keep it neat. Notice the rub strip installed to protect the edge of the chain locker

See In Vee Birth

I cut away the fiber glass over head linner and epoxied in a 1 plywood reinforcing ring for added strength. I am going to install a teak wood valance to hide the winch from eye sight when looking forward from salon.

See Chain Stopper

The chain stopper I used also helps keep the chain and Rode from popping up from the bow guide. I also installed a plastic /nylon type rub strip on the bow anchor guide. Can use starboard or some similar material which can be formed with a heat gun to conform to the bend in the anchor guide.
