My 25 year old hatch was just to far gone to attempt a restoration, so this is a whole new hatch. The 1/2 inch thick poly carb would have cost a small fortune but I happen to have a piece that was just a couple of inches short. The extra piece of wood on the forward edge took care of the shortage. I also used a little less arch.
