The pickup for the 1 1/2 hose for the Gusher 10 installation is at the location of the aft most keel bolt and aft of the installed Rule automatic bilge pump. A plumb line from the middle of the forward edge of the lower ladder step is about the forward edge of the hose as it exits. In my boat the installer had made a slot forward from the round hole and then had to cover it with a piece of the teak and holly sole plywood.
