I have two anchors. The Plow has its own roller but the Danforth does not, which makes it really hard to retrieve. By the time I get to the chain I had no choice but to roll the chain on the side of the boat causing damage. So I decided the solution was to install a second roller for this anchor.

3) I removed the existing roller to sand and clean the plate

4) A coat of base paint for aluminium was applied

5) Then two coats of black pain for good measure

6) I used reinforcing plates to mount both rollers

7) Now I have two rollers, one for each anchor. Easy as pie

Actually, the hardest part was to work inside the anchor locker. Theres not much space to move and my arm almost wasnt long enough.
