Keeping the bugs out of a small boat can be a problem. Instead of purchasing an expensive poptop canvas cover, I purchased $50 of misquoto netting. There are several internet sites that sell this stuff. I got the widest size I could find. Ive seen people sew light chain into the edges. I used pencil weights used by fishermen. Works great!



Heres a couple more ideas that work well to keep the bugs out. I had the sailmaker sew a frame around the screen which is attached to the opening by velcro.
